Cortéo—an Italian word meaning “cortège” or procession—is a contemporary circus show about a clown who watches his own funeral taking place in a carnival-like atmosphere. This spectacular show features everything from aerial acts, bouncing beds and performers being spun and rotated on a large metal ring to incredible acrobatic feats, jugglers and high wire acts. And it’s all accentuated by the colorful wardrobes that mark a Cirque Du Soleil production.

Thompson-Boling Arena, Knoxville, TN

This multi-purpose arena on the campus of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville originally opened in 1987 and is home to the Tennessee Volunteers basketball teams. The mammoth octagonal building lies just northwest of the Tennessee River and just southwest of Neyland Stadium. The arena has a seating capacity of 21,678. At one time it was the largest facility ever built specifically for basketball in the United States with seating for 24,535 until its 2007 renovation.
