Last season the Los Angeles Clippers, under head coach Doc Rivers, placed 2nd in the Pacific Division and 8th in the Western Conference. They took on the Warriors in the first round of the Playoffs but lost in a tight 6-game series. While they finished the 2018-2019 season with a 48-34 record, the Clippers head into this season with even higher hopes after signing free agent superstar Kawhi Leonard who led the Raptors to the title a year ago. Now Leonard will team up with Paul George in an effort to bring a championship to the Clippers. Meanwhile, the Orlando Magic ended the season in 1st for the Southeast Division, their first division title since 2009-2010, and 7th in the Eastern Conference. Behind coach Steve Clifford, the Magic obtained a playoff spot for the first time since the 2011-2012 season but were eliminated by the Toronto Raptors.

Both teams are back for the 2019-2020 season, as the Clippers head to Orlando to play the Magic at the Amway Center.
