Darius Rucker and Lady Antebellum are teaming up for a special co-headlining tour and you can catch all the musical excitement in central Florida. The “Summer Plays On” tour will be stopping at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa, FL featuring the Grammy winning acts that have combined for 16 #1 hits and 10 Grammys Awards.

Rucker and Lady Antebellum collaborated on a cover of Old Crow Medicine Show’s song, “Wagon Wheel” back in 2013. That song quickly became Rucker’s biggest country hit to date. Since their debut in 2006, the popular country music trio, Lady Antebellum, has some more than 18 million records, charted 9 number one country hits and collected seven Grammy Awards. The concert event also features special guest Russell Dickerson.

MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre, Tampa, FL

This popular outdoor concert venue is situated just east of downtown Tampa on the Florida State Fairgrounds about a one-hour drive from Orlando. Offering guests a choice of reserved or lawn seating, the Amphitheatre can accommodate approximately 20,000 guests, and is the largest outdoor concert-only entertainment facility in the greater Tampa Bay area.

The Amphitheatre features a state-of-the-art sound system, two large video screens on each side of the main stage and LED screens on the festival lawn area. Since opening in 2004, the Amphitheatre has hosted a wide range of musical performers.

Westgate Events at the Amphitheatre feature covered seating with access to a VIP area offering complimentary food and drink.

Drafts is themed and designed to create a casual but elegant sports bar environment complete with high-definition flat screen televisions for broadcasting local, national and worldwide sporting events.
