The Gatlinburg Trolley lights include one-of-a-king LED lighting displays that fill the mountain village’s quaint downtown Parkway and adjacent River Road.

Millions of twinkling Gatlinburg Christmas lights fill the trail, including displays that feature animals indigenous to the nearby Great Smoky Mountains National Park such as deer, foxes, squirrels, and rabbits. You’ll also encounter a wide range of timeless holiday displays including fanciful snowmen, Santa’s reindeer, elves, toys, trees, dancing fountains, a group of international children and a shiny rocking horse.

The Gatlinburg Winter Magic Trolley Ride of Lights is a delightful, 45-minute guided tour of the city, offering a whimsical look at this Great Smoky Mountains winter wonderland. The Gatlinburg Christmas Trolley runs nightly from Nov. 7, 2018 through Jan. 26, 2019. Trolleys can be picked up in downtown Gatlinburg for the memorable journey through downtown and adjacent Hwy. 321. Trolley rides begin at 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 pm and depart from the Gatlinburg Welcome Center at traffic light #5, near Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies. NOTE: Trolleys do not run on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Tickets for the family-friendly Gatlinburg Trolley Ride of Lights are $5 per person and children under 3 are free when sitting on an adult’s lap. No food or drink is allowed on the Trolley.
