A three-time Grammy winner and one of the most accomplished song writers of all time, legendary Kris Kristofferson & The Strangers are set to play the Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort Event Center on Friday, Nov. 9. The ageless Kristofferson’s lengthy song list includes “Me and Bobby McGe,e” “Help Me Make It Through the Night,” “Sunday Morning Coming Down” and “For the Good Times,” all chart-topping hits. In addition, it’s been estimated that more than 450 artists have recorded Kristofferson’s compositions.
In all, Kristofferson has recorded 30 albums, including three with his friends Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings as part of The Highwaymen. Harrah’s Cherokee Casino & Events Center is located near the North Carolina border just a mile from the entrance to the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway and just a short, scenic mountain drive from Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort & Spa in Gatlinburg, TN.
