Last year, in one of the biggest surprise upsets in Daytona 500 history, Michael McDowell, driving for Front Row Motorsports, won his first career NASCAR Cup Series race! The surprise finish came after powerful Team Penske teammates Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski wrecked battling for the lead on the final lap, allowing McDowell, a 100-1 underdog, to take the checkered flag.

The big race is also one of our biggest annual events! So act quickly if you want to get in on the fun with this exclusive 4-night Orlando vacation package. To add even more excitement to your race day experience, this package includes access to the epic UNOH Fanzone – the most fan-friendly, hands-on experience in sports.

Explore the UNOH Fanzone in the infield with a view into the garages, special driver appearances and autograph sessions and more! You’ll also enjoy a pre-race concert and driver introductions from up-close in the tri-oval on the day of the DAYTONA 500!

The Daytona 500 is the Great American Race, featuring 43 of the world’s best stock car drivers taking 200 laps around on the famed 2.5 mile tri-oval at Daytona International Speedway in Central Florida. Built in 1959, the track features multiple layouts including a tri-oval, motorcycle course and a sports car course and its 180-acre infield includes the 29-acre Lake Lloyd.

Of course, the race is only one of the focal points of any trip to Daytona. The Daytona 500 Experience delivers magical motor sports memories to both race fans and casual observers through an exciting variety of hands-on activities, challenging thrills and one-of-a-kind sights.

Drafts features a variety of creatively designed burger, pizza and appetizer selections that are complemented by an extensive selection of draft and bottled beers, specialty microbrews, worldly wines and a wide array of alcohol drinks. Drafts is themed and designed to create a casual but elegant sports bar environment complete with high-definition flat screen televisions for broadcasting local, national and worldwide sporting events. However, the true emphasis on Drafts is pairing great comfort food with outstanding brews and wines. The breakfast buffet at Drafts includes eggs, potatoes, turkey sausage, biscuits and gravy, French toast and fresh seasonal fruit.
