Since his days as a Grammy-winning lead singer for Hootie & the Blowfish, Darius Rucker has launched a successful solo career as a country artist and is a member of the Grand Ole Opry. Now he brings his third country album to the concert stage with his True Believers tour. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Album Chart and features hits like “Wagon Wheel,” a song which earned Rucker the 2014 Grammy Award for Best Country Solo Performance.

In 2008, Rucker released Learn to Live and the album’s first single, “Don’t Think I Don’t Think About It,” made him the first African American with a Number 1 country song since Charley Pride in 1983. Following two more singles that topped the charts, he earned the Best New Artist award from the Country Music Association. His 2010 follow-up, Charleston, SC 1966, included two more Number Ones, “Come Back Song” and “This.”

Harrah’s Cherokee Casino & Events Center is located near the North Carolina border just a mile from the entrance to the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway and just a short, scenic mountain drive from Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort & Spa in Gatlinburg, TN.

In 2010, the casino added the 3,000-seat Events Center as part of a $633 million expansion that included a full kitchen, four VIP suites, box seating and more than 1,100 balcony seats.
