A Day at a Disney Water Park
Who says you can’t swim in a winter wonderland! Contrary to its rather frosty appearance, Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park is ready to open its waterways for lots of aquatic fun – and don’t worry, the water is kept at 80 degrees! The park offers a unique blend of tropical landscaping with simulated melting snow and ice, all centered around the towering Mt. Gushmore. The mountain offers a variety of water slides, tube slides and body slides, including the thrilling Summit Plummet – a freefall body slide with a near vertical drop. You can even take a beach chair themed ski lift to the top of the mountain!
If you’re looking for a tropical paradise, look no further than Typhoon Lagoon*, located at Walt Disney World. Here’s your chance to experience a full day of breezy water slides and an oasis of adventure. The park offers a unique blend of tropical landscaping with a splash of surfers delight! For thrill seekers, enjoy seven stormy water slides ranging from taking the plunge at Crush ‘n’ Cusher to enjoying a whitewater adventure on Miss Adventure Falls. Discover your surfer’s side and catch a wave in the wave pool or enjoy a float around the lazy river or spend the afternoon soaking in the sun and enjoying some beachy food and beverages!
