Duran Duran became a household name after releasing their single “Girls on Film”, which later included a music video that became controversial. They later released other popular hits including “Hungry Like the Wolf”, “Rio” and topped the charts in the United States with “A View to a Kill” from the James Bond film.
The band has sold over 100 million records worldwide and have won numerous awards including two GRAMMY Awards and two Brit Awards, were awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and in 2022, were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
