First held in 1959, the race used to take place on or around Independence Day. The thrilling nighttime event was moved to late August and now serves as the final race of the NASCAR regular seasons.

The Coke Zero Sugar 400 remains one of the NASCAR’s’ biggest and best events of the year. The race is known for its epic close finishes, a number of high speed crashes and, of course, a broad display of fireworks which light up the sky during post-race celebrations. It’s all part of a fun-filled 3-night getaway in sun soaked central Florida.
