At the tender age of just 16, McCreery captured the crown on season 10 of American Idol back in 2001. His subsequent debut country album them went platinum. Most recently, McCreery released his new album Rise & Fall, and in July was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry as a member by his childhood hero, Josh Turner.

The McCreery concert is just part of a wonderful two-night getaway in Gatlinburg at the beautiful Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort. Harrah’s Cherokee Casino & Events Center is located near the North Carolina border just a mile from the entrance to the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway and just a short, scenic mountain drive from Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort & Spa in Gatlinburg, TN.

In 2010, the casino added the 3,000-seat Events Center as part of a $633 million expansion that included a full kitchen, four VIP suites, box seating and more than 1,100 balcony seats. Concession areas are located on all floors of the center and LCD screens are strategically placed throughout. In addition, the 60’ x 40’ stage is framed by large 32-foot screens with HD resolution.
